Mobile Booking fast passes but prob not go

On my plan there are some days when I don't plan to go to any of the 4 theme parks (water park and chill days). I have still booked random fast passes though incase we change our minds. Does this mean anything in terms of missing them or cause any hassle to tickets if you get what I mean?

It won't cause any problems, and it's definitely a good idea to do it. However do cancel them the night before or on the day if you know you aren't going to use them so that they don't get wasted and someone else can pick them up.

I do this each time we go as at 60 days ahead I really dont know what park we will be in, just cancel them rather than let them expire if you change your plans.

Yeah def book them up for everyday, but like others have said, cancel them at whatever point you know you are not going, which might be the night before or even that morning.

To me This is the problem with the 60 day/30 day windows people on 60 days book fp's with little intension of using them leaving nothing or very few for the 30 people also booking multiple passes for the top rides leaving none for others I know it's not the 60 dayers fault it's Disneys system, for me the old one when you got them in the park was easier and much fairer

I Don't think it makes any difference if you cancel them or not. If you don't turn up to use your fastpass everybody in the queue that would be stood behind you gets to move up one place.
If you cancel and somebody else rebooks it, they get to jump from the back to take your place, thus getting a massive leap, but they are the only one to benefit.

Swings and roundabouts for me!

How does it not make a difference cancelling them?
If every visitor took fast passes when theyre not likely to use them, theyd be nothing left for others.
At least if you cancel them theyre available for someone else to book.
Personally I think booking them when youre not expecting to use them is a little selfish.

Because the ride can only take so many people. If I am not in that queue, be it physically or virtually, then everyone else gets to the front faster.

I'd be delighted to join a standby line that says 2 hours because they are expecting a load of fastpass people to turn up. If they don't turn up they don't leave a space they feed in standby instead.
