How did you find Legoland Florida compared to Windsor?

DS would love to go but it's an extra expense on top of Disney tickets so I'm unsure.

How long is your holiday? Unless you find yourself at a really loose end, I wouldn't waste the day. Whilst it isn't a million miles away it does require more travel than the other parks in the Orlando area.

We paid £19 pp as an add-on with our other tickets (I definitely wouldn't recommend paying full price!). I found it very similar in terms of what they had at both sites. The only difference when we went (2017) was that Ninjago land hadn't yet arrived at Windsor.

Personally, if you have visited Windsor I don't think you are missing much by skipping Florida (unless your son really wants to see the new Lego Movie 2 section that I believe is now there). I know we won't bother again in the future (and that's with having hardcore Lego fans in both DH and DS! ).

Having been to Windsor Legoland first, we would never return to Windsor after going to Lego Land Florida.

We have been in total around 10 or 11 times over the last 6 years to LL Florida and our kids really enjoy the park. kids now 9 and 6 and asked to go again this year, however we are giving it a miss as cant get discount tickets this year.

In the past we have got the tickets free for 14 days or paid £30 for 14 days which were very good deals - however a lot of these tickets are no longer around.

We really liked LL, its no Disney by all means, however its a nice chill out park with short wait times and themed great for lego lovers.

We always have a car, so the location of it is no issue for us, we have found over the trip the food in the park is not great, so we just fill a cooler up which ice and take a mini picnic, if you are there early you are parked near the entrance so easy to nip out and rest the feet in the car with the aircon on having a snack/lunch.
How old are your children / child ?

We got 14 day tickets for £30pp. We plan to do 1 day with the free bus day from idrive. We are walking distance to pickup.
We enjoyed one visit a few ago to legoland Windsor. For us already holidaying in Orlando( only doing universal) so we have spare days plus its closer to our base in Orlando than a trip from NI to Windsor. That's my justification anyhow 😀

I am, despite my 59 years a huge fan of Lego. I have the Disney Castle in my lounge and have visited Legoland's at Windsor, Florida and California. To me, other than the world showcase, they are pretty much identical.
I used the ATD 'free' tickets for Florida on both occassions.
I used Tesco Club card both times for Windsor.
I used my Gosandiego card for 'free' admission in California.

I would never pay gate price and cannot see myself visiting any of the 3 again. There are other things that I would sooner be doing in all three locations. I will still love Lego though!

Thanks. We are only in Florida for 11 nights. If there were special offers on I wouldn't mind but I can't find any at the moment.
It seems we'll pass unless some amazing value tickets come up.
