The Best Made Plans of a Mouse and Her Men (Feb / Mar 2017)
Hello, and welcome to my Trippie Index  If you have met us before (through one of my other trippies or over on the forums), then thanks for coming back to experience more of my ramblings about our 6th family Floziday - if you have stumbled across us for the first time, then let me introduce the Cast Members... The Mouse (Me - Ems, 36): Spreadsheet planner, countdown maker, chief booker and MDE owner, carrier of the camera and trip report note maker – just a teeny-tiny bit in love with a certain female mouse and partial to any clothing that features polka-dots, cartoon mice or schools of witchcraft and wizardry (see my pre-trippie for lots of evidence of this)  Man #1 (DH - Rich, 37): Ideas finder, food wish list maker, chief saver and important document / valuables carrier. Extremely camera shy, but will join in with the occasional selfie and Photopass pic because he knows how much capturing our memories means to me. Man #2 (DS - Tom, 12): Chilled out snack muncher and trainer shopper, who is generally happy to go with the flow, but knows his roller coaster limits, and is definitely no longer interested in meeting Characters  . Growing up way too fast (especially now he's in big school), and the reason why these trips are so important to us - we need to soak up every opportunity for quality family time together And here we all are...  As always, despite the level of detail in our (my) planning, we have one rule: a plan is there to help us make the most of our holiday, we don't have to live by it, and there is always room for flexibility (which you'll see we follow quite often as this Floziday story unfolds). If you are interested in how these particular Floziday plans came together, then you can read all about them in my pre-trippie (but you might want to grab a cuppa first)  Travel Day - Thurs 23rd February 2017 The Wind (Doris) Beneath Our Wings Manchester to MCO (VS75) and Caribbean Beach Resort Day 1 - Friday 24th February 2017 It's a Kinda Magic (Kingdom) Magic Kingdom and Disney Springs Day 2 - Saturday 25th February 2017 Baby It (A Bit) Cold Outside Disney Springs, Blizzard Beach, Winter Summerland Golf & Shopping Day 3 - Sunday 26th February 2017 Hakuna Matata (What a Wonderful Day) Animal Kingdom & EPCOT Day 4 - Monday 27th February 2017 A Change (of Plan) Would Do You Good Hollywood Studios & Disney Springs Day 5 - Tuesday 28th February 2017 Can You Feel The (Dory) Love Tonight More Golf, Blizzard Beach and Animal Kingdom Day 6 - Wednesday 1st March 2017 (Over, not) Under The Sea Boardwalk, then Clearwater with Florida Dolphin Tours Day 7 - Thursday 2nd March 2017 Food (Lots of) Glorious Food EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival and Disney Springs Day 8 - Friday 3rd March 2017 Hey Mickey (and Minnie) Magic Kingdom, Contempo Café and Wishes (sort of) Day 9 - Saturday 4th March 2017 Moving on Up (to Cabana Bay) Disney Springs, Moving to Cabana Bay, Pool Time & Mardis Gras Day 10 - Sunday 5th March 2017 Fun, Fun, Fun (Spot) Islands of Adventure, Fun Spot and Shopping at Premium International Day 11 - Monday 11th March 2017 (B)Dub(s) Be Good To Me Early Entry to IOA, Lazy Pool Time, Moving to Rosen Inn and an evening on I-Drive Day 12 – Tuesday 7th March 2017 (Race Through) New York New York Florida Mall, a Lazy Afternoon and Universal Studios Day 13 - Wednesday 8th March 2017 The Greatest (last full) Day Islands of Adventure, Millers and EPCOT (Our last full day) Day 14 - Thursday 9th March Gonna Fly (home) Now Hollywood Studios, Millers and VS76 Home Final Thoughts, Best Bits and Summary ----------------------------------------------------------------- The Food Report: Part 1 (9 nights onsite with QSDP) Part 2 (5 nights offsite) I hope that you enjoy reading about our adventures

It was a really long day - although reading back over my notes, I must've fallen asleep for a bit whilst I was writing my notes at the end of the day - it wouldn't have taken me that long
