I misunderstood the OPs post. I thought "I'm going to orlando" meant she had rearranged her flight. Not heartless. Just misu derstood. I have deleted my post anyway.

It was fine, dont worry. I only have a small gap to get a holiday in due to other commitments so may have to cancel completely especially as my AP runs out soon

We’re at MCO now. They’re definitely preparing for something here, we’re in the lounge and the staff are having meetings and discussing moving everything away from the windows.

NY Times also reported that the airport would be closing at 6pm.

Our BA flight is due to leave 5:35pm and showing delayed until 6pm atm. The incoming flight has just landed so I think we’ll be getting out as they won’t keep the plane here.
