Yes we have been watching just got the last episode to watch, they really didn’t paint the astronauts in a good light, particularly Alan Shepherd. The only decent one was John Glenn

Is it worth watching would you say?

Yeh it’s worth a watch first episode is a bit slow but it’s definitely worth a watch

Finished it today and really enjoyed it.
They also have a documentary called 'The Real Right Stuff' too.

I remember there was a film of the same name which I really enjoyed. Must be 30 years ago.

It’s all based on the 1979 book by Tom Wolfe. The original film came out in 1983 and has loads of famous faces in it. Ed Harris, Scott Glen, Dennis Quaid and Lance Henriksen. The film is an absolute classic, it also has far more of the test pilot aspect. The tv show is ok in comparison but not quite as good as I hoped but still enjoyable and watchable.

I can also recommend the film.. Fascinating times and very brave men.
