I have only had 3 courses a handful of times! If we go to the Cheesecake Factory, we don't have starters - and even then a pudding is often shared.

It may be worth while searching these places on line as many will have a price list so you can work this out for yourself knowing what your family will eat.

We often look and select what we'll have when we go next!

I'd be impressed if you could polish off 3 courses in America lol , the portions are huge , we have been researching some new restaurants to try , I think myself & DD will share a main with a side order
As suggested , I would make a list of places you fancy eating at and then take a look at their websites for an idea of cost ,if you register with some they will send you money off emails : Soup plantation ( sweet tomatoes ) & tony Romas are two that do . We sometimes grab some nice nibbles from the deli counters at Publix and take it back to the villa , this saves a few $ and is relaxing with a beer or two

Nothing like ambition - 3 courses is more than we can ever manage.

Four adults last night at Longhorns eating a main course (not the cheapest) and sharing their mega dessert was $120 including tax and tip, one large beer and one large glass of wine

We paid $22 the night before at Taco Bell and would expect to pay North of $200 at Seasons 52

Generally, we think about $100 is about average, but remember this is for four adults. Kids meals are a lot cheaper.

Tonight's dinner Publix Lemon Chicken and salad about $20 at the villa

... now to finish the bottle of Pinot Grigio...

Regards

Gary

I don't think we've ever managed a 3 course meal, the portions really are massive, but me and DH averaged about $40ish between us in places like longhorn, olive garden etc. sometimes sharing a starter or a pud at a push don't forget to look out for coupons on their websites.
