Mobile Your best cruising tip is ...

We are off on our first cruise with RCI on the refurbished Navigator of the Seas in August for a 3 night cruise to the Bahamas. Anything we need to know/do to make it a great first time.

Towel pegs as it can be very windy on sea days. Lots on amazon. Also plastic wallets for the luggage tags again on amazon

Bring along the cardboard wine bottle holder you can pick up in supermarkets. In the morning I would fill up our cups at the drinks station, two coffees and two sodas and two waters. Pop them in and carry them back saves juggling and lots of people commented on it.

The main dining room on the first night is especially busy and can be a long wait for a walk up. Try and make a reservation once you have boarded.

If anyone suffers from seasickness in any form, even if only mild, get yourself something meclazine-based. Bonine or Dramamine, which isn't sold in the UK, can be got from Amazon.com. I bought a huge tube of generic branded meclazine, called Rugby, for less than $10. They are pink, raspberry-flavoured, chewable tablets, and work like a dream! They don't cause drowsiness and don't seem to have any other side-effects.
