Mobile Universal Early Hours

We are staying on site at Universal next month and the early opening is always in the studios (after a lot of changes! )

I was wondering what the best way to get to Islands Of Adventure would be on these days.
Would we be better off coming out of US and walking to IOA. Or are we better off catching the Hogwats Express (what time does this run).
I think we would look to do the Harry Potter attractions in IOA first, whichever way we go (hopefully Hagrid if its working regularly by then! )
Thank you in advance for any help

we would always start one day in the Harry Potter section of one park, get the Hogwarts Express over and do the whole day in the rest of the park. The good thing is the Hogwarts Express is a different experience both ways!

That's a good idea
Does the train start running early enough to get you to the other park before the queues get too big!?

I think it starts running as soon as the park opens - we've been lucky enough to have Express passes from stopping at Royal Loews so we haven't had to worry about the queues too much

Thank you. I know universal doesn't need the level of planning Disney requires, I just want to be prepared!
