Brother Dave – Age younger than me doesn’t let me forget it! , Chief Dibb Mickey taker but loves WDW.

Last half day in Vegas. So it was emergency holdall buying and late breakfast. I can recommend the Mandalay Bay holdall as being able to hold all my clothes due to the PS3 in my case!

We decided just to get a taxi to the airport as I forgot to book the shuttle and did not fancy carting two bags across terminals, the taxi driver this time was Irish and she soon got us to the terminal and the queue was short, we were soon checked in for the direct flight to Manchester, Lunch at the airport, what choice burger king or Pizza hut ? Plus one of the smallest saddest duty free shops I have ever seen. I did love the IPod vending machine though.

Just as I was settling in a magazine read someone said that Ricky Hatton was on the flight and in the airport at this point BD perked up and went in search only to come back with a smile and a photo, evidently a lovely normal guy having a pint before the flight back. I then looked up from my book to see Kenny Dalgliesh at the gate with his family, good place for star spotting?



Unmemorable flight sleep eat including kit Kats again and soon back in Manchester, Had to wait a while to get though the gates as Ricky Hatton was talking to press at just the other side of the gate, I’ve been Papped! What can I say life as a star...

It was a bit like star spotting. We were on the same flight. I was stunned coming out of the arrivals hall in Manchester to find the press waiting for Ricky Hatton.

We couldn't believe how small the airport was in Vegas. I know what you mean about the choice of Burger King or Pizza Hut. There is not much else other than the tint Duty free and the newsagents. They still managed to fit a casino in there though.

Wow, Ricky Hatton on the flight, glad you managed to get a photo. I thought it amusing at Vegas airport that they even have slot machines to play in the departure lounge ! Glad you had a good time, thanks for writing reports.
