Loving reading all these magical moments.

Mine is slightly different as in it wasn't in Disney or any theme park but a memorable moment all the same. We were in IHOP one tea time and it was empty, just us in there as it was early. Our server, a lady in her late 50's I'd say, was very pleasant and enjoying chatting with our DS who was 6 at the time. They ended up both dancing around the restaurant to the music, and when we left she said what a lovely, polite son we had.

My son who was 8 got picked to open Disney Quest. He got to put a special key in the lift and got to announce over the tannoy that the place was open. He got a lovely gold medal and the cast member made him an origami heart with my hero written on it. It was lovely to be picked

Last year on our first day, in MK, my DD's crocs rubbed blisters (she's worn them all round legoland here in the UK etc but for some reason they rubbed this particular day.
We tried to put plasters on but they wouldn't stick due to the sun cream. Our DD started telling a CM all about it, who then got out a little book, took some details from us, then tore out a receipt from the book Amd told us to take her to any shop in MK and she could choose any pair of shoes she wanted!
She chose some lace up pumps (converse style) that had all different coloured mickey heads over them!
We couldn't believe it, was a real disney magic moment!

We have had a few :

DD's were standing it the shop at MK, a CM came over and asked them to help her dress cinderella. They walked over to a statue of cinderella and had to choose clothes/gown. They got a certificate and also a bag of goodies.

On another holiday which was just DH and I , we were just getting of Everest and the whole train were given free fastpasses for all rides at AK. That was amazing.

I just love Disney.

My son has sensory impairment and gets distressed with the bangs of fireworks. We always take earplugs so he can muffle the sounds out. Last year for some reason I completely forgot to bring them with us for watching Wishes and just as it was about to start he looked panicked and asked me for the ear plugs. I told him I'd forgotten them and said c'mon lets go, trying to make a quick exit, but he said he wanted to stay. He braved Wishes without the benefit of ear defenders which was extremely brave of him, considering he gets stressed with the noise of balloons popping. He heard the music properly for the first time too so it was a very special and magical moment for us

Many many years ago we took our DD to 1900 Park Fayre for dinner after she had been to BBB and was in her Cinderella dress. Cinderella and Prince Charming were doing the rounds in the restaurant when all of a sudden the clock struck 12 and Cinderella disappeared. Prince Charming, who had obviously seen my DD at our table earlier, came over and asked her to dance and her face was an absolute picture as he escorted her to the middle of the restaurant was waltzed with her. A priceless moment.

There are such amazing moments in these posts - it's brought a tear to my eye reading about the incredible family moments, and firsts, as well as when CMs or other staff have gone the extra mile.
I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has told of their moment...it has made me forget all my anxieties about whether I am booking the right fast-passes at the correct time of day, and now I am just super excited! (And may be a little emotional!)

My DS (4 yrs) meeting his heroes Kenai and Koda in 2006. After great character interaction and many big cuddles he came bounding over to tell me that *they* knew *him* because he watches their film all the time.

My DD (5 yrs) getting lots of 'Good morning Princess Aurora' comments from CMs on her first day in Disney in 2012. I have never seen her so bashful yet pleased as punch.

And later that day when she had a nasty head bump after falling in the water play area she was given a voucher for a Merida doll by a CM.

Every child should get to feel the magic of Disney!
