Would you rebook for this year

We are supposed to be going to Lanzarote on the 2nd June but obviously that has been cancelled.
TUI have given us a credit note with a additional 20% added to it.
Not sure if to just ring and cancel, therefore get my original money back or book for October when I have a week off.
What have other people done in the same situation?
There is only the 2 of us so no children to think of. Just wondering if to take them up on the extra 20%

We are currently awaiting our refund credit back from TUI for our Crete holiday which we were due to be going on 4th June. Once I get the credit I will be applying for the cash refund. As much as I am desperate for a holiday I'm so unsure about where to book for so feel safer having the cash in my pocket. We will then look to book something when things become a bit clearer

I’d personally have no hesitation in booking a European holiday for this October. The only thing to be aware of is potentially cafes/bars/restaurants not running to full capacity although by October there’s every possibility they will be

That's how I feel. I have 2 separate weeks at the moment that I could choose from. One being the 26th September and one being 17th October.
Would love to think the end of Sept would be fine due to the prices but I'm thinking best go with October. It gives us another 3 weeks "just in case" space
