A four day family get together for eight of us in a converted barn in the east Midlands countryside coming up soon. Then it's my birthday in August so hopefully we'll do something then. I plan to have some days out, maybe York on the train, and a boat trip and a visit to Liverpool cathedral with my Mum. Apart from that DH and I like getting out on our bikes at the weekend . Youngest DS is planning on moving out so I'm helping him with that will use up some time I'm fairly sure 😀

First day of the holiday we are off to the Big Cat Sanctuary in Kent. The one off the telly. They only have a couple of open days a year. Very excited.

Then it's 10 days in Normandy with brother and his family. Very historic and will get to see the 75th celebrations. Family has property there.

I am sure once back in London there will be an afternoon tea/spa day with DD and another zoo visit. She is studying endangered species for her A level fine Art.

Then 28 August laptop out as FP day. Yay.

Volunteering at the Greenwich + Docklands International Festival more this weekend and next weekend, going to the National Theatre on Friday to see a show and I think that's about it until July.

A new shed. Not very exciting but it’s needed and with all my husbands tools we need a big one. He is thinking of building one for better quality. We also want to give our back garden a face lift.
Other than that we will be doing days out; Lake District, st Anne’s, York etc etc fingers crossed for plenty of dry days so we can have plenty of picnics.

Everyone elses plans sound so nice, stressful rather than stress free one planned here as hoping to move house - if we can ever sell this place! Wish me luck

Travelling down south to visit my mum, in-laws and my DSis who is very ill (if she’s up to us all being there). For the kids we’ll couple this with a couple of days out - they’ve already suggested either Paulton’s Park again or Thorpe Park. We may also have a day in Brighton, or somewhere else along the south coast.

We are not on holiday till October and we don’t have kids so no planning around them, but my brother and his family are home for a few weeks in the summer from Abu Dhabi so will get to have a weekend in Colchester with them , and got The Foo Fighters in Glasgow. Doesn’t sound like much but we were on holiday in May, we pretty much work all summer.
