Pregnant in the parks
Hey
I'm going to be 23 weeks pregnant when we go to Dlp for 4 days, and had a few questions... I know they have the prego pass and it says you need a medical note from your doctor, would my maternity exemption card be enuf as il be very obviously pregnant? Also we will have a 16 month old with us and still has regular bottles is it easy to get hold of milk in the park or hotels? Thank you |

I would take your maternity notes - you should always time them when travelling abroad anyway

Can I suggest you try your little one on different powdered and carton milks before you go?
My DS is now 14, but on his first trip at 2, we had to do this. Glad I tried before we set off as he wasn't keen on the first couple of brands. |

Unfortunately she is off powdered milk but might be able to take some long life cows milk, if not I was thinking most restaurants have got to have milk for teas and coffees so if I asked them to fill my bottle up, I'd pay for it?
And yes i hadn't really thought about it and il be taking all my maternity notes with me, so that should be enuf! Thank you for the replays |

Getting Excited
|
We travelled to DLP when my eldest was 17 months old & I was 7 months pregnant with my youngest so very similar situation. My little boy was still having bottles & it was really hard to get any fresh cows milk - the parks & hotels only seem to have UHT long life milk, which my little boy really didn't like the taste of. I think I had read about this on here so decided to take some powdered milk as a back up (because I knew he liked the taste & would drink it) & that's what he ended up having. I think you can get the train to the nearest supermarket to get fresh milk but we decided not to (don't think my pregnant feet could cope! ).
I would say the 'pregnant pass' they give you is great. I didn't know anything about it but when I was queuing for one of the characters one of the cast members actually took me out of the line to get me one. So make sure you show it for anything that has a line - & the cornered off area to sit for the parade. Hope that helps! Xxx
