Davy Crockett Ranch taxis?
Hi guys,
I'm just totting up how much a quick break to DLP would cost, seems it's between Davy Crockett (£596.80 for 2 nights, 2 people) and Santa Fe (£685) for the cheapest onsite. Does anybody have an idea of how much it might cost in taxi fare to get to and from Davy Crockett to the parks, or how easy it would be? That's the main deciding factor. Thank you in advance! |

i would think for 2 nights you'd be better buying park tickets (around £100 each) -
attractiontix/ticke...-paris#ticket1 and then booking into a nice partner hotel and using their free shuttle buses which run to and from the parks all day every day. Have a look on trivago, expedia or travelrepublic for Disneyland Paris and loads of hotels, including many very near the onsite ones with free shuttle buses, will come up . To answer your question though, taxis are expensive in the DLP area, and they are not readily available at the DCR (you'd have to call for one in advance). If you have a good look around, you could easily do 2 nights for 2 adults, in a lovely nearby hotel with park tickets, for around £400. |

To be honest, I've never stayed onsite before which is why I was looking to now with the half board deals, but I don't think Davy Crockett would actually give that experience, anyway, so you're right - I may be better off staying offsite and just bringing snacks
Thank you for making me come to my senses, and for the site tips! Edited at 06:19 PM. |

the "free" half board deals, for 2 people for 2 nights, are definitely not worth as much as the £250 or so more you'd be paying to stay onsite. Standard half board vouchers are worth about 28 euros each, so at most you'd be saving 112 euros with a "free" half board deal.

We're planning a few days at DLP next summer and had only been looking at DCR as need two bedrooms. DH said he didn't mind driving in every day but I hadn't realised there were non Disney hotels that did shuttle buses.

Thank you, that's really useful. Waiting til the free half board options are available for next summer and will then do some thorough research
