Virgin Atlantic Premium Economy meals
Evening everyone, is there anyone who has recently travelled PE with Virgin who can tell me what the meal choices are Manchester to MCO?
Cheers everyone! |

Sorry not recently no. Others will disagree but for me the hot food offerings are equivalent slop to economy seats. But on proper plates. They do give you a lot of wine though in PE so every cloud 😉

Hi
We travelled this route in May, we were not over impressed with the food either way to be honest. I just wish they would keep things simple. MAN to MCO Main meal Starter – Radish and tomato salad Main Meal – choice of Beef Lasagne, Teriyaki Chicken or Butternut squash risotto Pudding – Toffee, banana and pecan pudding Mile High Tea Choice of filled rolls - Mozzarella with green pesto and slow roasted tomato and rocket or Roast beef and horseradish Passion fruit éclair and blackberry macaroon Warm scone with clotted cream and jam MCO -MAN Sorry can't even remember the main meal choices - none of them appealed to us so we didn't bother at all Breakfast - Almond Croissant, Natural Yogurt and Fresh Fruit Hope this helps a bit |

I thought the Scone with the afternoon tea was excellent, other than that I was not impressed and was pleased I had taken sandwiches.

We had the Vietnamese Caramelised Pork as there was no Italian Chicken stew left, and frankly it was terrible!

I think the PE is the best it's been in years! Afternoon tea is very good.

Looks pretty good to me. I would enjoy those meals.
Lets be honest to cater for inflight meals is a nightmare. Altitude destroys the flavour as we know and the profit margin is tight. Plus airlines want to keep costs as low as possible. My view is the PEmeals have got better and better over the last 2 years.

I must be odd I look forward to the in-flight meal. Must be because when I was growing up if I didn't eat what was put in front of me I didn't get fed. It stopped me being a picky eater 😂
