Certainly want to see the boys too! I have two sons and I will be just as excited for those as my daughters (hopefully less stressful lol)

Well, my son has autism. For him, he would find Prom difficult.
So, a group of friends who have been with him since reception all bundled round ours last night for a not a prom night of Chinese, cake and Cards against Humanity before they all celebrate their proms in the next few weeks.
These guys went to separate secondary schools but have all kept in contact and they are so supportive of DS.
One of the other lads has asd too and wouldnt cope with a prom and one of the girls decided she couldnt be doing with the fuss. So it was great for them to celebrate the end of school.
A talented friend made the cake. Each one caught as a fondant figure

Hes the one in the crawl position - I had just moaned I couldnt see him!

(And hes the one in the fourth photo hiding at the back holding his Pride Mickey)

How lovely they've all stayed in touch and the cake looks amazing, they look like they had a fun night. My youngest has autism but with all of her struggles a big gathering isn't one of them and she loves a party or school disco. Her junior school leavers prom is a week on Tuesday 😭😭😭... Where does the time go, in two weeks she will be in secondary school 😳

As with NT kids our kids find different thing difficult.
Glad your DD. is going to get to go to her prom.
