We holidayed as a family in the Algarve for many years and these were an almost daily treat! So delicious. I often pop into local co op late aft when, if they have any, they are reduced to 20p!

Lidl are the best and if you go early enough they’re still warm. They taste sooooo good.

Had my first in Macau!

For anyone in Salford/Manchester A taste of Portugal sells all things Portuguese including these.

If you want to make your own, I used Marion’s kitchen (prev Aus master chef contestant) youtube site and shop bought puff pastry - delicious!

Tesco have these in the frozen section - they are great if you give them 10 mins to cool off and eat then still warm 😍

Definitely a mistake trying these as they are very addictive. Glad I do not live in Sheffield as they now have a Portuguese bakers where they make them fresh and a couple of weeks ago we had one still slightly warm.

Love these. Didn't know Lidl did them. That's my weekend fasting down the drain 😂

Freshly out of the oven today and I bought a plain one and a raspberry one (which must count as one of my 5 a day surely?)
