DAS again!

Sorry

I have Crohn’s so will be asking for a DAS pass, I always had a pass under the old system, I am presuming I will get one for my next trip. ( not been for ten years). I understand that my daughter and grandson who are traveling with me will also be included in the pass. Can you confirm if I’ve understood the following

1). I HAVE to ride for the DAS to be used, totally get this, I’ve k own people hand the old cards to relatives

2). For those rides I am not going on, it’s better to book regular fast passes for Daughter and grandson ie dumbo, etc

3) I do have written medical evidence, although I don’t need it, is it worth taking with me?

4) is there a limit to FP bookings and DAS bookings?

Is there anything I’ve not considered

Thanks

Think you have covered everything correctly
I know they can’t ask to see it but we still always take our DD letter with us as evidence just in case. I feel better asking for a DAS card with it in my hand as well as she has an invisible disability - just my personal way.

It work really well. My understanding is if the queue is shorter then 25mins you go straight into the fastpass queue. If longer you get a return time (for the time the queue actually is minus 10 mins). You can only have one return time at a time (plus fastpasses).

Have a wonderful time

Yes I’m with you, whilst I know they don’t have to or are not allowed to, I always feel more comfortable with the diagnosis in black and white under my name. I’ve had mixed reactions. GS at Epcot we’re pretty good and on the five occasions I applied there ( under the very old system) I had no issues. On one visits I went to GS at MK and the guy told me I couldn’t have one as I looked ok! I was mortified, he said it loudly in front of the room and I could see all the tutting faces. Back to Epcot where they were more helpful. That was on my last trip back in 2009, so I’m a little apprehensive

No you dont need evidence but take it anyway just in case. Yes you have to ride when using the pass so i would book FP for those rides you are not going on. You get 3 FP a day. Once you get a time for a DAS you cant use the DAS for any other ride till you have done that one.
