Renting out DVC points

Hello,

I have been considering selling a couple of my smaller contracts, but as they are so small, the fees and taxes hardly make it worthwhile. So I’m instead thinking of renting out some points.

Can I just ask - I know David’s is mentioned on here a lot, and looking at his site, it seems the $14 per point he mentions is what you get - no hidden fees.

But is this the case for international renters? I only ask because I see some points on here renting at £8.50, which would work out less than David is offering, so I’m just wondering whether we have to pay international transaction fees or something, which makes David’s figures not quite as attractive for UK renters?

Many thanks for any help

Because of the exchange rate at the moment, David's is probably the better option right now. We've rented out points through him several times without issue. The money gets paid to you via PayPal, two thirds at the time of booking and the balance on the day the booking starts. There are no other hidden charges or international fees etc.
However, there is a minimum number of points he will accept so if it's a tiny number you are looking to rent it might not be suitable for you. If you do go for it, it's all very straightforward and painless.
