Booking Cabana's at Volcano Bay

How far in advance would you recommend booking a Cabana at Volcano Bay?

Just on the day or much earlier?

Thanks.

I would book it as soon as you can. Booking it on the day is very risky.

They go very very quickly so I’d sort out a date you want to go and book, the prices vary depending on how busy it is, and they can be unbelievably expensive if there are just a few of you, we prefer premium seating , we had nice quiet area, great service and it was much cheaper

Would premium seating still be available on the day do you think? Only I read that they dont guarantee seating together if you pre book?

I wouldn’t wait til the day the first time we booked we booked few months in advance. Then when there in May we hadn’t booked and went straightto guest services and got the only premium seating tha5 was left, so def book ASAP, sooner u book the better as prices vary depending on when u want it. If u arrive first thing I’m sure it won’t be an issue getting seats together, the premium seating is per two sunbeds

There is no early entry offered for premium seating or cabanas nor do they offer guaranteed entry. The only way to get in early is to stay at one of the universal resorts

Is there any way of booking a cabana on line or do you have to phone? I suspect the latter as I have been unable to find any other option on the website.

Presumably, when you call you get a booking reference that you give them on the day or do they email something to you? Also, do you need to have your ticket information when you book? We have 2 week Universal passes - will I need to give them details?
