New night time show coming to Universal

An epic new show is coming to Universal Studios Florida and there’s not long to wait! Universal have just confirmed that the night-time lagoon show will officially launch this summer and it sounds amazing.

Universal haven’t given away too many details just yet, but they have given us enough to get excited about. As you can probably tell from the name, this incredible show is going to be all about the movies. The show will light up the lagoon after dark with powerful projections bringing some of the most famous movies of all time to life right before your eyes. There will be music, lights and of course lots of water as 120 dancing water fountains erupt around you. State-of-the-art projection mapping technology will portray classic clips from the movies onto huge water screens. Look out for roaring dinosaurs from Jurassic World, supercharged cars from Fast & Furious, mischievous Minions and much, much more. Harry Potter fans won’t be left out either, as the series will be brought to life through the power of spells. You’ll also hear music you’ll instantly recognise from the movies, as it echoes through the park.

Prepare to be immersed into the movies as soon as the show begins with the entire waterfront area and surrounding buildings transforming into a celebration of iconic movie moments. Universal have promised that this amazing new show is going to make “nights at Universal Studios brighter and bolder than ever”.
