Indirect via Chicago

We’re flying with United in August from Heathrow via Chicago.

We’ve had a couple of flight time changes since the original booking and we now have a layover of 2 hrs 35 in Chicago.

Does anyone have any experience of Chicago airport. Is this going to bevsufficient and if we have to change terminals, how easy is it?

Having a bit of a panic now!

We conected through ORD in 2015 and it was very efficient, less than an hour to get through immigration, collect bags, clear customs, recheck luggage, change terminal, go back through security and find some food.

unluckily for us this is when it all went wrong. But I would 100% connect through Chicago again. We have 2 hours in PHL next month, fingers crossed its just as smooth.

I've connected in Chicago many times always found immigration quick . It's a big airport but the monorail is very quick so you'll be fine.
