Fastpass

Hi
We have fastpasses for Disney and Universal but wondered if there were any rides we shouldn't use them on in order to experience the queue? I know some of the pre rides are almost as good as the ride itself and don't want to miss anything by using a fastpass.

Thanks!

At Disney, I would say no. Or more specifically, FoP has an amazing queue but I don't think it's worth standing there for 2+ hours to see compared to the 5-10 minutes you'll wait with a FP. The other queues (e.g. the gem barrels you can spin in 7DMT) are just a bit of fun, but not must sees. IMO.

I don't know Universal (not a fan) but from what I've read, the queues for the HP rides are often better than the rides themselves.

At Disney the queue at toy story midway mania is amazingly themed, you get to see Andy's bedroom from the perspective of a toy. As mentioned the seven dwarfs queue is good fun, its the newer attractions where the queues have been themed really well as Disney know the popularity and want to keep us entertained.

At universal the only queues worth seeing are the Harry Potter ones, if you have read the books or seen the films you must witness the queues they are like an attraction in themselves
