Regular Disney dining plan query
Hi everyone looking for some advice.
We usually purchase the Quick Service Dining plan but this year we have been given the regular plan(1 quick service and 1 table service). Are we able to just use our dining plan at quick service restaurants for all our meals, or do you have to use 1 quick and 1 table? Thanks, |

Yes you can use a table service credit for a quick service if you’d prefer

You can downgrade credits, but not upscale them. So yes you can use your ts credits at QS places. Not a great use of them in terms of value though

You can use the ts for qs instead if you want to but is there any particular reason why you don't want table service?
If it is because you have to book in advance, don't let that put you off as you don't have to. You can get ts meals on the day, maybe not for the most popular options but there is a huge choice of places to eat at Disney. You could just see what was available when you get there or maybe book some a week or two before you go. Maybe just try a few, so don't use ts every day but just choose a few that you may like. You could just choose a few character meals, or a good breakfast to start the day or an evening meal to relax at the end of the day. As you have it included, it is better value to eat at a table service and a quick service each day. If you feel it's too much food, I would share a qs meal earlier in the day. It's your choice of course but we paid to upgrade our qs plan as we really enjoy the ts meals onsite. |

Disney will generally always allow something where they are "making" money: Value of TS =$45 QS-$18, win win for Disney! TBH you would have been better booking on the Free nights offer as you are effectively "paying" for something that you don't need/want

Downgrading is fine but not great value for money. Is there a reason you wouldn't want the TS meals? Buffets are a good option if you prefer not to wait too long for food?
