do DVC always get Discounted AP's

This year we got $100 off the price ( i think )

well in a few years time ( 3 ) its going to be my 50th

The idea was go to WDW in our planned every other year, then have a 10 day break for my birthday the year after, so a AP would work well for us all

No, but have done recently. With supposed new management, who knows what will happen is the answer I’m afraid.

I get the discount every year. You have to monitor what's on offer though.
A few years ago the Platinum Plus was the same price as the Platinum.
Next year I may drop to the Gold one as the blackout dates dont affect us.
Also one year you got 13 months for the price of 12.

Disney Platinum Pass – New Purchase $849 plus tax
DVC price $729 plus tax
Disney Platinum Pass – Renewal $721 plus tax
DVC price $619 plus tax
Disney Platinum Plus Pass – New Purchase $949 plus tax
DVC price $829 plus tax
Disney Platinum Plus Pass – Renewal $806 plus tax
DVC price $704 plus tax

Wish they'd introduce the 13 for 12 again. We don't normally to go Florida every year but next year we are going on a cruise so will be there, but a month later...
