DVC and buying park tickets in the UK
Hi All,
We are due to head home for our first trip as DVC members next year so have started thinking about tickets. We bought enough points to go 2 weeks every 2 years so the Annual Pass probably isn't a good value for us even with the DVC discount. I plan on buying tickets in the UK from ATD as we have in the past, however, i am unsure of a couple of things. Do the paper tickets bought in the UK link with your Disney account and allow you to book fast passes etc or is that all driven by your accommodation booking? If you can link them does the clock start running as soon as you enter a park? (trying to work out if we need 2 or 3 week tickets as we will be at Universal for the first few days of a 3 week trip). Many Thanks. Mark. |

You can purchase your 14 or 21 day ultimate tickets in the UK and then link them to your MDE account.
Last year we both bought the Gold Annual Pass for our November trip, only time it has worked out that we could go back within the year. Our DD got the 14 day ultimate from Orlando Attractions and when the ticket arrived I linked it straight away to our MDE account, we were then able to do fastpasses at 60 days out The tickets start as soon as you activate them at the park and are valid for the 14 or 21 days but if you take a day out in the middle and don't visit the park you will find that on the 15th or 22nd day the ticket will still work, meaning you have only used 14 or 21 over the 15 or 22 day period. If that makes sense lol If there is a time when you are out and you decide that you can return within the year remember if you purchased an ultimate ticket then you must upgrade the ticket whilst there before it expires.
