Holiday in Spain for MIL help please!

My mil and her friend want 2 weeks in Spain around the 5th September for two weeks. It’s got to be near a sandy beach, near to bars restaurants, no hills, everything flat. Everytime she goes away it’s on a hill and they have to walk down and get a cab back. She wants two weeks self catering, Majorca and Benidorm were mentioned, I am not a fan of Benidorm but she wants everything near so they can walk to everything. Any ideas dibbers?

Agree with Lisa, there are hotels in the centre of Alcudia very near to the beach, the ones a little further out have shuttle buses running to the beach but still have some bars near by

Javea is nice. Villas tend to be in the hills but there are lots of apartments in the Arenal beach area. We've hired one from HomeAway which is down a side road but is only 5 minutes (flat) walk to the beach, restaurants, bars etc.

Edited to add the old town/port area is a longer walk but it is a flat walk or you can get the land train. There are some really lovely beach bars on the walk between Arenal beach and the port area.

La Pineda near Salou is all flat, it’s not a huge place but everything’s close like bars, shops & restaurants, it’s a very short transfer from the airport & the plana buses are cheap & excellent if wanting to travel to the surrounding areas like Salou, Cambrils & Taragonna

We went to cala bona in majorca in October, lovely place, nice harbour area with plenty of restaurants and bars, lovely and flat and a lovely beach. We are hoping to go back on October.
I've been to Salou a few times and la pineda recommended above would be a good choice too, nice small resort, all runs along seafront with nice bars and restaurants again and flat.

La Pineda is a lovely flat resort with nice sandy beach and regular buses to other places such as Salou, Barcelona etc.

Ca'n Picafort in Majorca is another flat resort with plenty to do and close to Alcudia. Alcudia is flat but some hotels can be a long way from the beach as it is a very big resort so she would need to research the hotels for location.

Thanks guys, I went to Alcudia and the beach was lovely but the hotel was awful x

We stayed in VIVA Sunrise in Alcudia it was a really nice hotel close to the beach.

Alcudia is a bit of a trek from the airport though so unless hiring a car make sure transfers are included in package.

Sa coma, cala Millor is flat and nice - prom etc x
