If you like planes a trip to the Boeing factory is fabulous. We coupled this with an afternoon at the neraby outlets!

There are some great restaurants in Pike Market.

We got the City pass which was great value. We found the boat trip very interesting and the kids loved the Music museum.

It is a lovely city! Have fun!

Its a fabulous city - supposed to be rainy and dull but every time we've been its been gloriously sunny!

Things to do
  • Hop on hop off bus tour
  • Walk along the harbour front
  • Take the ferry across the bay
  • Eat in one of the many restaurants
  • Go to Pike Place Market and see the fish shops throwing Salmon around - and see the fabulous range of fresh produce
  • Visit Starbucks original shop - but be prepared to queue
  • Then visit their Number 1 store around the corner at Pike and 1st - anything new to Starbucks is here
  • Then try to go to all 243 other Starbucks in Seattle
  • Yes - Starbys is from Seattle but there are hundreds of other coffee shops too and if you like coffee the its the place for you
  • Go up the Space needle - AND book dinner in the revolving restaurant - the food is great, have the "volcano" dessert - and the views are amazing
  • Take in a football, baseball or NFL game
  • Go to Boeing for the tour if you like Planes
  • Go shopping - its a lovely shopping area

Enjoy

We did a road trip from Seattle to San Francisco and had 3 nights there. Absolutely loved it and would go back in an instant. I did a trip report if you want to check it out ... https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/sho...d.php?t=966569

I have asked to go to Seattle for my 50th in two years time, it’s the Boeing factory that makes me want to visit.

Hi Mel.
I love your reports and know you are a massive Canada fan. We did Toronto for DH 50th 18 months ago and loved it. We are just trying to see what is doable with Seattle, would you recommend Vancouver, it’s looks amazing.
