I wouldn't bother personally, it would be too stressful for me!
But if you do... - Make sure you buy a plane seat for the baby. It will be no fun having them on a knee for 9 hours - for you, the baby or fellow passengers! - Use rider switch at the Parks - Consider midday breaks back to the resort - get to the park early (maybe EMH), do a few hours then back to the resort during the day and back to the park later on when it's cooled down. Obviously try and stay at a Disney Resort and have park hopper tickets. |

We took our 4 month old last year and it was super easy!
Just be prepared to go by babies schedule and take things slow. We flew AA via PHL and paid for bulkhead seats and requested a bassinet on the plane, so he just lay in that for the duration of the flight. Super easy! We had a baby carrier for in the parks/queues/buses and it was a lifesaver. Be prepared to cancel/change plans last minute, because your baby just won't be up to it or has a nappy explosion at exactly the wrong time. Write a list of things you need to pack every morning. We kept forgetting something, but to be fair, you can buy anything in the parks should you need to. Baby care centres even sell wet wipes and nappies. The only thing we found difficult was restaurants, as most of them don't want you to take the pram in, but the baby is too small for the highchair. I ate mot of my meals cold, because I was holding the baby while DH and DD ate and then switched. Quick service was a lot more convenient.

We went in May with a 4 month old. She didn’t have a seat, and was asleep most of the journey. When we were there she was an absolute doddle, no problems what so ever, much easier than taking a toddler.

Yes definitely go. You don't need to put your life on hold just because you have a young baby. We are going in November and will have a 8 week old baby with us

I would at that age they are easy. But I definitely would not book before the baby is born, I had a c section with my second and would not have been up to a holiday 10 weeks later.

I wouldn't get a plane seat, certainly not at 10 weeks.
My second baby is 5 months. If you had asked me this question before he was born I would have said of course go for it. Babies that young are easy. However I'm sorry but I'd now say wait. My second baby has been so ill with reflux. It's been terrible and I really can't imagine trying to got to Florida. Between trips to doctors, specialists and now he is refusing to eat, I can't leave the house for more than 2 hours. We had booked before he was born to go this September. I keep telling myself there is still time for things to improve, but if they don't, I'm not sure what we will do. I'm sure your baby will be fine and if they are happy then it would be easy. I think I'd maybe wait a few more weeks though just so they have had at least their 8 and 12 week vacines. Sorry if that isn't much help! |

we went in August 2016, after booking i fell pregnant again with baby number 6 and he was 12 weeks when we went, our other children where 10,9,7,5 and 18 months
we didnt buy a seat for either little ones so daddy had the 18 month old and i had the 3 month old it was fine, he slept alot, had a fan on his buggy, nice light clothing, as long as they are kept as cool as possible all will be fine. 1 tip would be to take your own nappies and wipes, they are so expensive there

We took a baby at 6 months. Would not do it again. Lots of problems and too much stress.

We have just got back from 11 nights at the GF with our 4 month old and 7 yr old.
This was his 3rd and 4th flight as he went to Spain a few weeks ago. As long as you are organised and have everything to hand, especially in the airport and on the flight then it should be fine. I would definitely recommend using a baby carrier around the airport and sometimes in the parks, having your hands free was vital. Our son was golden on both flights and the attention he and we got as a family, especially from the americans was lovely. They all kept saying the same word which was 'precious', which of course he is ! We booked the sky bassinet with Norwegian on the flight out but once boarded we were told they didn't have it on board ! Annoying but we had bought a Sky baby before hand and it was brilliant, highly recommended ! amazon/SkyBaby-tra.../dp/B00C3O88PA So be organised, go with the flow and you will have a great time making special memories.
