Even if everything lands on time you have no control over how many immigration gates are open, how many "tricky" processing cases are ahead of you or how long the bags take to get off. So just take a chill and enjoy the expectation that you'll be in the hotel soon.

By the next morning you won't have cared if you got through in 20 minutes from landing or 3 hours, it will be forgotten

We landed on Saturday and it was the 17.55 BA flight too! We had the very back row of the aircraft (that’s all that they had when we checked in) a flight had just landed before us and it took 90 minutes to get through.

If you have priority (or no) baggage then yes it makes a big difference - if you are potentially waiting for the last bags off the flight then don't bother.

this makes no real difference, because, in order to get off the plane first, you'll stand up in the aisle, getting your carry ons from the overhead bin, as soon as that fasten seat belt sign goes off.

you'll be waiting, in an akward position, in the aisle, until UC and PE deplane, then you'll start moving.

the few minutes you'll save in the immigration line, you'll have lost stading in the aisle, and that wait is more painful if you have bad knees (as a disabled person with walking difficulties, I can tell you about that.)
