It's American, but gentle and very well written - 'Parks and Recreation' fits the bill.

I know it’s an oldie but “The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin” is a British classic starring Leonard Rossiter, well written and a little off centre in the best way.

Another vote for “The Good Life” so well written, very on topic at the moment with regards the environment etc…

And finally I love “As Time Goes By” with Judy Dench and Geoffrey Palmer. So funny in a chilled out, relaxed sort of way.

Not sure if it would be your thing but I’m watching re-runs of ‘The Good Life’ on sky, it has me in stitches - it’s very simple but I personally love it !

The film Pride is on BBC 2 catch up for another week or so. Heart warming feel good film about a group of Gay and Lesbians from London in the 80s who go to support Welsh striking miners.

I would agree about Young Offenders. At first glance you would think it’s brash but every episode left me feeling emotional. I think it’s fantastic.
