Look at the Tom Cribb pub, very old and atmospheric. Named after a boxer. Opposite the Harold Pinter theatre near Piccadilly

Eating - you are in the centre so loads. The criterion will be the nearest to the theatre or cross the road and go to Brasserie Zedel which is fabulous and has a cocktail bar and Cabernet club as well as a huge french style restaurant (it is house in an old knocking shop/brothel too - The Regency Palace Hotel !)
This is a good old pub - its safe but really has the old soho vibe full of history (and not too many tourists - locals) - Pete Waterman’s local too shadyoldlady/location.php?loc=903 Happy to help with any more questions Edited at 02:43 PM. |

It is around 10 stroll to/from the theatre but loads around those back streets worth looking in on. Just avoid Shaftesbury avenue/Leic Sq as all tourist traps and will fleece you with no real atmosphere

We quite like pizza pilgrims. It is a small chain, but really nice pizzas, and good value. There’s one near Leicester Square.
