Today was the first walk our lab got in five days, it was down to about 19 degrees in Newcastle. She LOVED it. She was like a dog possessed
 The rest of the time it’s been playing in the garden for spurts of 5 minutes then in the shade. Had the sprinkler out too the other day, which she thought was great. Just done loads to keep her mind active. She is currently chewing on an Antler and loving it.

As someone who’s dog HAS had heat stroke at only 17 degrees. There is absolutely NO way he is being walked in this.
He has brain training in the house, he has a paddling pool in the shade. No way is he being walked. And it’s not because we don’t want to get up early! How rude.

My boy has collapsed again this evening. Playing with two other dogs on his first walk this week due to it being cooler tonight.
Please please just be careful walking dogs in this heat. It’s terrifying.
