I'm seriously looking at booking Barbados as a back up to our 2.5 week Florida holiday? 😬. We fly the 1st October!

Does anyone know whether if I book today using the offer, and Florida goes ahead I can move the Barbados flights to somewhere next year? Or cancel with a voucher? Barbados is currently 'Green' so if it stays like that probably won't be cancelled? 😬🤔.

I really don't know what to do, but it's a big saving for 4 adult fares? We only have very limited ability to change dates, day either side, so I'm worried we will struggle if I leave it until Florida is definitely cancelled!

Thank you x

Have a good read of the full terms and conditions if you would need to consider accepting a voucher and if necessary take a copy to refer to in the future. Then at some point if BA withdraw the Book With Confidence guarantee and take the details off their website you have something to look at.

Good idea! 👍. I'm hoping their policy (as I've read it?) Means I can just change dates or get a voucher even if they don't cancel? But I'd like that confirmed? No way to speak to anyone, and if Florida goes ahead we would cancel Barbados! But flight could still go ahead!

BA are really busy, as we all realise, but how about trying Online Chat (Twitter might take too much time) today to get some clarification.

PS - I print everything out "just in case". In fact you have given me another idea for a separate post about Covid/apps/letters.

I find it a little unfair. I didn't chose what type of voucher they gave me and I had no choice but to cancel my booking due to covid...

I was able to use one of my evouchers along with the 20% off on this offer, but that evoucher had been from cancelling a flight only booking.

I had another evoucher from cancelling a BA holiday and I tried to use it to pay the tax part of an Avios booking, but was told that wasn't possible, so I am assuming it could only be used against another BA holiday. I did use it for that and there was a balance left on the voucher, which now BA have kindly refunded to my CC without asking.
