The top level of the Savoy is pretty steep, not the worst of the London theatres for this but it is quite steep

We've been on the back row many times, great view but very high

I don’t mind heights in general but the older London theatres with that steep looking down feel definitely impacts on my enjoyment and sounds like you might be the same.

It’s not the worst, but it is steep. It’s the walking down the steep steps to get to your seat I don’t like 😂 but my legs are unreliable and I’m banned from the higher floors in my own theatre!

I stick to the same level as the access seats now. Much easier for my legs. I don’t think ours is that high, but they do have a warning on the ticket about the height and the lack of lift, so if you are worried I would probably come down a level rather than risk the enjoyment of a show x

Also the Savoy is topsy turvey, you have to go downstairs to get to the seats at all!

The Savoy is full of charm, beautiful ceilings and relief work Like some old theatre as its upside down (like The Bridge, a much modern theatre also is like that ) the issue I have is the seats are too small for me - I have horse riding thighs and even at 5-11 my legs are long. I simply cant go there now unless I am in a box as my legs simply dont fit (stalls or dress circle) - my friend took me to see Top Hat and its a great show but i had to stand at the back for the interval . SO if you are larger build then its really hard - get a box

Oh, tell me about it. But I found the seats at the back of the stalls OK for my Baymax-shaped bod too.

Thanks everyone for your help. I would always go in the stalls but for 5 of us it’s the ££
What I don’t like is feeling unsafe and in some places your feet are literally on the person belows shoulders as the rake is so steep. Then I feel I’m going to fall(ridiculous really)

Don’t go in the balcony in the Palace. It’s exactly like that, and a lot of the Delfonts are like that.
