I'm surprised at that, I've shopped and eaten in Peterborough and it seems fine to me.

I agree, Peterborough is ‘not good’ to be polite. Then again I’m not far from Wakefield and that’s a dump nowadays as well, so maybe it will be next on Wendy’s list. Fortunately I am also close to Leeds, which last time they were in the UK, was one of the few places to have a Wendy’s.
Here is the full list of worst Cities, and I’d agree with most apart from Liverpool which is one of my favourite Cities and York is one of the nicest cities in the country so that is wide of the mark. Reading and Leicester also are a bit harsh. And if you’ve never been to ‘Casvegas’ you haven’t lived. warringtonguardian...land-revealed/

I use to go shopping in Peterborough many years ago and it was a great place then.
Not far from Blackburn which is dreadful and Nelson where I live isn’t much better. Where we live though is out of the way as we are on the outskirts with the countryside on our doorstep. Edited at 09:00 AM. |

Agree, Peterborough seems ok. The town centre is where we do our holiday shopping most years but don’t know the area once you’re out of the centre though.

Every single city can be classed as the worst city as all have good and bad points depends on how you look at it. I been to Peterborough many times and just classed it as a city like any other.
