Ordering Food to Disney
We are going without a hire car this year and were hoping to order food from local off site places such as Steak and Shake etc for quick easy in room meals. Has anyone done this? Do Disney allow it? We're also thinking of doing a grocery delivery to the resort to arrive the day we do. We are staying in ASM.

Of course you can get food delivered to your resort at Disney, I’ve used uber eats many times, they wont deliver to your room however for security reasons but you can meet the delivery driver at main enterance of resort

Grocery delivery also isn't an issue. They will delivery to bell services where you can pick it up, or have bell services deliver to room for a small fee.
Note that if you order alcohol with your groceries, you will need to be present when they deliver to show your ID. Otherwise you can schedule it at any time and they'll store it in the cool rooms until you're ready to collect. |

Great question! What's your plan for ordering groceries i.e where are you planning on getting them delivered from?

Hi Everyone! Thank you for your help! It's the first time no car and on a "budget" - disney style budget of course! We were thinking a Walmart or Publix delivery - possibly greengrocer but they appear to put a premium on costs. I've heard that Walmart may not include bags and that Disney refuse them?
Food wise - I am a sucker for Steak and Shake, Cracker Barrel and the like! Will have to check if location works when we are there If anyone has any recommendations for groceries i'm all ears! Pun intended

I'm planning on using Amazon Fresh for groceries. You need to be a Prime member but you can do a 30 day trial of the US version.
One thing I noticed when checking Uber Eats is that the delivery fees are quite high and often the delivery time was 40-60 minutes. Depending on what you want to eat, it may be cheaper and quicker to just use the resort food court. They all have mobile ordering so it can be pretty quick as you can just order from your room then go pick it up. |

Thank you, very good to know.
We are so far away from going but need to get the budget in place - saving for a house but can't sacrifice our Disney trips just yet! I'll let you know in 2 years if i regret this decision!
