Just checked our insurance and looks like we can add an fcdo travel advice extension to our policy which might be worth considering. Fingers crossed the advice changes before we go.

We are due to fly there end of August, could I ask who your travel insurance is with please?

We’re insured with staysure after recommendations on the Dibb. They do the add on insurance but not checked how much extra that would cost yet. Let’s hope the fcdo advice changes before we go 🤞

We are covered re insurance as went with staysure. 3 travelers, 2 fully vaccinated so just need to upload proof to Cyprus flight oass. Daughter only had one jab. So she needs pcr 3 days prior to flight. Then pay 30 euro at Larnaca for another test. Totally doable. Obviously she needs to quarantine (wfh) on her return. We just need a day 2 test.

Does anyone know if I’ll have a problem with my proof of covid vaccination being in my married name whilst my passport is still in my maiden name? I’m getting worried now as I keep reading conflicting info 😬

I’m not sure. But could you take your marriage certificate with you as proof of your maiden name and married name? I did this when I travelled after I’d got married but my passport was still in my maiden name

I’m afraid we decided to amend our holiday to go to Rhodes instead of Cyprus. I was put off by the mask mandate for Cyprus having to wear a mask both indoors and outdoors. Also Tui are still currently not flying to Cyprus. Fingers crossed things change for those of you still going. We just though all things considered we would change our holiday.
