BA price difference

I booked to go to Greece next month with BA about 10 days ago. I’ve checked the price today, and it’s £129 cheaper. Do you think it a) would be possible to cancel, get a voucher and rebook b) is that too cheeky for the sake of £129?

Not cheeky at all! I’d give them a ring

I would definitely try it to save £129 and I wouldn’t consider it cheeky at all. Just be careful though because if you cancel your booking when you go to book again it might not still be £129 cheaper.

Prices change all the time though ?

I personally wouldn’t ring because i only book with a price I
am happy with .

And looking at it the other way if the price goes up , I wouldn’t expect BA to call me and ask for more money .

By the time you’ve cancelled and got the voucher to rebook the price could have gone up .

This happened to me, it was a holiday booking. They repriced for me, no cancelling and rebooking.

The difference is the current BA book with Confidence pledge. If you cancel it will take a few days to get the voucher.

I'm pro-BA as they've been very good throughout the pandemic in our experience, but is very difficult to get through to BA Holidays on the phone at the moment, impossible actually! I've been trying off and on over the past 3-weeks to get through and I don't even get as far as being in a queue.
