Has anyone seen the post on Orlando Info Zone FB page that Manny's on 192 has closed and is now Route 66 Chophouse.

According to a local facebook group, all the franchised Manny's are no longer part of the group. The reputation of the one on 192 had gone way down recently. There are 3 left near the Haines City area that are still controlled by the original owners. It seems like trying cash in on the name without having enough control over the franchises' quality was a big mistake.

I think they probably did quite well out of it, the franchises were over a million$ to buy so they made money off the name for sure.

Definitely but they usually are big enough to benefit the franchisees with bulk buying, advertising and training. It sounds like the Manny's group was too small for that and just wanted to cash in on the name.
