Curbed alloy how much to repair? !

DJ let me take his octavia down to Manchester, I have curbed 1 wheel, anyone know a ball park figure for repair? I hate using other people,s car but mine had a leaky water pipe or expansion tank !

It totally depends on how bad. If it was just a scrape, it will be under £100 depending on the finish that was on the wheel. It will be lower if it is just painted and lacquered a single colour.
If you hit the wheel at any speed, there could be a weakening of the metal or a crack. Unfortunately you cant tell this by looking. If this is the case it is anew wheel (though some say they can repair this, I wouldn't be taking chances).

We’ve had to have this done twice due to blooming potholes. Once it was around £100 and the second time around £80. Must have been different levels of damage I guess

Mine were £60 each about 2 years ago, but I guess badly damaged ones will be more and 2 tone fancier type will probably be more again.

I would never use chipsaway to repair an alloy wheel because they did a rubbish job years ago.

It will also depend on if they are diamond cut alloys if yes depending on some can be up to 100 per alloy.

My fault but I kerbed a diamond cut alloy on a BMW saloon about 4 years ago. Cost me £115 if I remember correctly. Mind you it was bad.

Wee update, noticed that he has already curbed all 4 wheels, so I took the choice to keep quiet and he hasnt noticed, probalbe due to not wanting to highlight his own failings LOl xx

Spit n polish in Kent are the best for diamond cut. Wouldnt recommend any of the mobile guys.
