walking from universal, i would only really recommend somewhere in citywalk, however youve got sand lake rd/dr philips around 3 miles away from universal so cheap in a cab... i'd have a look at one of the ones there, depending on what type of food you like... so far we've not had a bad meal at any of the places there!

(personally though, my favourites have been seasons 52, big fin seafood, and nagoya sushi)

Thanks for this - our first ever visit is coming up in just 150 days and I'm so keen to visit authentic restaurants/diners rather than chains.
