Thanks

Not used them for years but always used to use them when frequently travelling to Atlanta.

Always has good experiences but naturally depends on the agent you get on the day.

Over recent years going to Florida (MCO/MIA/TPA) have noticed there lines to be not as busy, but that's no real indication

We used them last sept & had no issues. Had 2 standard suv’s, great choice & no issues when picking up/dropping off. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again x

We have used them several times over the years, cars usually not as new as some other rentals but perfectly good cars, do check your agreement before signing though, they have a tendency to try to sneak charges on at MCO but apart from that I would be happy to use them any time, I tend to shop around and look for best price/offer and book that

Dollar used to be partnered with Virgin Fly drive but got dropped after so many complaints so now it's Alamo and skip the counter option.
So not used them for a while...like others have said watch for the extra charges and the hard sell to upgrade and insurances.
Cars are ok but not as good as other companies

Also be extremely wary of their Sunpass scheme

sunpass/en/tolls/rentalVehicles.shtml

I never look past Alamo through Discount Florida Car Hire these days. On line check in, straight to the garage and pick my own car. Best Sunpass scheme as well - at least until they restore Visitor Toll Pass at MCO

The Avis costs are out of date. About 6 months ago they were raised by about 50% and they also introduced a fixed fee deal like Dollar have. Andy at DFCH has contacted Sunpass a few times and I have once asking why they haven't updated but no response.

Over the years I've posted that web site link maybe 100 times. If you go to the home page it shows all the toll roads including the few that are cashless (as in cashless not unmanned which basically all those on the ramps are)

Well, I’ve gone and booked through DFCH with Enterprise.
Went for them as Alamo was a little cheaper, but the thought of rushing to get the best car in a row with other Virgin Atlantic passengers put me off tbh

We always collect from side B. No idea which side has the most choice but it's nearest to gates 70-99 where all UK flights land and very close to the 417 exit where our car goes on auto-pilot
