Not too bad here today (SW Scotland). Breezy but plenty of hot sunshine this afternoon.

I've lived in Orlando since 2006. After a while the day to day living isn't a lot different from being in England.

Well, apart from the 3 tornado warnings we had this evening.

And the fact I had to drain water out of the pool today because it has been overflowing this week! If Dibbers were here at the moment we would be reading complaints about the weather this week and the forecast for next.

We seriously considered moving back in 2004. We enlisted a recommended company who would have taken charge of everything. There was some sort of government scheme in place at the time whereby one had to make an investment in a qualifying redevelopment region (I think Seattle was mentioned) and this had to be left in place for a number of years in order to qualify for residency. I don’t think it was fully guaranteed that it would be returned but I’m not sure on this. In the end, family ties over here won us over and we stayed in the UK.
