Sad to say today we cancelled our trip. One of our flights was cancelled so we took the opportunity to get a refund instead of a voucher. Now looking to move to June. On the plus side we managed to get a 1bed concierge cabin on the Disney Magic for the last staycation out of Newcastle so will look forward to that.
Let the research and planning start all over agin for next year instead 🙄. For those of you hanging on I have everything crossed for you 🤞

Not sure we'll be able to do that, on Southwest trains or whatever they're called now, can't actually book seats as it's such a busy commuter line but I'll look at the small print. Peak rate is so expensive though that it's cheaper to travel the night before and book a hotel at Gatwick! We weren't planning on it because we never sleep well at the hotel and only an hour and a half away but saves us about £60 and we don't ≈≈≈≈ off the commuters with our suitcases.

So the bit about processing backlog, does that mean ordering ESTA sooner rather than later is a good idea or is it unrelated? Can't remember how far in advance we should normally order them?
