Relaxing At (mostly) Universal - Day 3, Kennedy Space Centre

Up earlyish for the drive to KSC - managed Togo through a Sunpass toll by accident as I was overtaking a truck and couldn't get back to the cash toll due to a concrete barrier- oops! Was pretty overcast and turned into torrential rain just after we headed for the Atlantis exhibit. Arrived looking like we'd swam there!

DH and I went to KSC before DS was born so lots of new stuff. We all though the. Atlantis exhibit was fantastic- also very interactive. Being early, there were only 6 people for the Atlantis reveal - lovely to see it all when it was so quiet.

Sent almost 2 hours in the Atlantis building, the Shuttle Launch experience was fun.

Had a quick wander round Journey to Mars before having lunch at the Orbit Cafe. Then headed off on the bus tour - the size of the Saturn V is still amazing to see. DS was also most amused by our bus drivers awful jokes.

Went into the new Heroes and Legends building before heading back to Orlando, it was after 3pm by this point.

For dinner we headed to an old favourite, Bahama Breeze. As it was my night to be designated driver, it was DH that had the flight of rum cocktails!

Decking that some salad would be a nice change, I had a delicious Avocado and Crab salad. Always a good meal here, with good service.

We love KSC and the Atlantis reveal is just amazing. The hours pass really quickly when you are engrossed in all that's around you. I must get to Bahama Breeze on one of these holidays, it's always on the list but inevitably gets bumped down and we have never made it yet.
