Might offend but funny!
I’m a member of a Facebook group crap you find in Charity shops, this is a book of actual names. I thought it was funny but I’m sorry if it offends!

My maiden name was one which people often found funny, I really don't know what my parents were thinking but we have a good laugh about it. My name was Joanne King... but as I am sure you can guess not many people called me Joanne (unless I was in trouble)!
My mum and dad were going abroad, filled out the visa's etc and my mum noticed that their surname was before their first names. She tried changing it but it wouldn't allow. They had to get a small plane and whilst the cards where being passed to each passenger ready for when they exited the plane, they announced my parents as King ... - Mum said they treated them like royalty!

We are researching my Wife's Family Tree.
I was somewhat disconcerted to find a load of Relatives called Phenis. Thank God they put an H in it.

I used to work with a guy call Richard Head - what were his parents thinking? |

When thinking of names for our son before he was born (not knowing if we were having boy or girl) for a girl I liked the name Eifa... untill my husband pointed out it wouldnt go with our surname... would read E for Edmunds
