My daughter used to get something like this, they're called pompholyx. Completely harmless and non-contagious.

Can be associated with eczema and also can be triggered by an allergic reaction, my daughters' trigger was contact with raw vegetables when she was younger but sometimes it's completely spontaneous and no one knows why it's there.

Quick edit: She became a Vegan last June and it's cleared up with no recurrences. We're thinking it was Dairy ...

Not a diagnosis as such but he thinks it's a type of dermatitis caused by stress, I have steroid cream but I've actually been using Neutrogena which seems to be having a good effect on it.

Thank you for asking

Try Child’s Farm moisturiser (available in Boots, Asda etc). It was the only thing that soothed & repaired the skin on my hands when I started to develop something similar to what you’ve described. It’s also been featured in the press quite a bit lately & is being hailed as a miracle cream.

Dibbers are correct again!
Go easy on the steroid cream only use it when you really have to. And have a holiday (In Disney of course) to reduce your stress

Great advice, I'll go in a couple of weeks

I've not actually used the steroid cream as i tend to avoid things like that if I can, I think talking to him about what's going on helped and he's signed me off from work which is probably the thing having the biggest positive effect!
