VA pay with miles greyed out

Hi all,

I am trying to do some dummy VA miles costings so I can get an idea of how many miles certain flights will cost me. However it does not matter what dates I enter, the duration, number of travellers or airports, the pay with miles and the pay with miles and cash features are greyed out whether I log in to my miles account or not. I know I have logged in successfully as my miles balance is showing. Is there a glitch in the VA website? I am using internet explorer could that be a reason?

I noticed this issue over the weekend, the only way I could make it work was to go back to the homepage and start again.

I have informed VS but knowing how good their IT is it may take a while to be fixed

I picked a random date in June and got loads of dates.

From there I amended the search and got more.

Definitely still an issue, I searched for Economy dates in November which it found, when I tried to refine the search it does this;

I always call Flying Club if I’m trying to spend miles, often they can give you more options, they are really helpful

Had the same issues yesterday but used the app instead and that was working ok.

In the end, because I was looking at August the mileage was so high, I decided to just pay up and save the miles for off peak or UC flights in the future.

There are problems with the website at the moment which they are apparently aware of. I rang up and they told me to switch my browser to Chrome. I still had the same issue 😕
