Those travelling July/August 2021. What are you doing about tickets?

Sorry guys am I missing something here.

If you are booked through WDTC (Walt Disney Travel Co), and have a hotel and tickets booked, then the reservation should be up on MDE no matter if you paid by deposit only OR paid in full.
Once on MDE, you CAN make reservations on the new system

If its not, sign in to MDE, go to PLAN & MANAGE-reservations and tickets.

If you have a hotel booking, it should show up here as should your tickets.

You'll know, as both little icons/symbols will be coloured blue. and NOT white.

If it doesn't show up or is blue(mine didn't , I've only paid deposit so far and I'm just after adding them) THEN

IF YOU BOOKED A PACKAGE, go into resort hotel and link reservation. Put in your invoice number from WDTC - THE FIRST 8 NUMBERS ONLY.
This will then link your hotel AND tickets.

IF you have tickets only reservation, then follow instructions above and instead of linking to hotel, scroll down until you see MY PLANS RESERVATIONS and TICKETS.
On the left hand side are 2 tabs-Daily Itinerary and the other is tickets and memory maker.
CLick on tickets/Memory maker and your tickets should be there.

If not, scroll back up to the 'blue' or white symbols for tickets and add your selection there.

I hope it works for you.

Once these are linked to MDE, you should be able to access the new system and make your reservations even if only paid a deposit.

I’ve tried this & still won’t link. I rebooked from September to March 9 days ago & nothing is showing.

Did you get an amended invoice from WDTC?
Did your booking inc hotel or just tickets only?

It took them 2 weeks to send me correct(amended) invoice before I could access on MDE

Yes, I got the cancelled booking invoice through first, then a day or 2 later the new invoice for 2021 booking. It’s for hotel & tickets. She did say it will take up to 2 weeks though, but I’m gonna miss the 22nd opening day if it’s not linked?

We arnt staying onsite. We have a villa booked in sunset lakes. First time not staying onsite since 2010. Not having free dining made staying onsite a no go as we will have a 14 and 16 year old and could only do onsite if staying in one room

Ive emailed Disney with a list of queries. Will probably get back to me never but it helped to clarify my thoughts.

This is the reason we are in a villa. Stuck in a tiny hotel room with two teenagers who manage to fall out in a 4 bedroom house is not my idea of fun.😬

We go in August 2021 staying in a Universal hotel, a package with TUI, hotel and flights. We’ve just paid our deposit and can’t afford to buy our Disney tickets yet. We would not usually buy them until next year. I can understand this years holidays needing to have a reservation system in place and possibly when the 50th celebrations happen next year. But I’m hoping that the reservation system will not be needed in 14 months time 🤞🏼

So am I but don’t want to take my chances. Think we will end up paying for the tickets this weekend so we can book our parks. I did a rough plan last night. If it isn’t needed then I will be over the moon but if it is we still get to go to the parks. I really hope you can leave the park and come back in the evening. Maybe they will have a way off counting guests who leave and want to come back, thinking you would need to tell a CM at the exit like you do in theme parks here

The thing is with leaving the parks and coming back in is the hours are really short 😢

Currently till end of October MDE says:
Animal Kingdom 8-6
Magic Kingdom 9-7
Hollywood studios 10-8
Epcot 11-9

So with the first two there’s no evening to come back to 🥺
